Play as either Sonic, Knuckles, Tails or Cream. Each has their own special talents. This means that you can personalize the game to suit you and you will have a connection to the character you play!

The graphics are simple but effective, with particular detail to the characters expressions. The background changes from level to level which makes the game more exciting, as you progress through the seasons.

There is no set way to go through the levels, with secret entrances and multiple choices.
Go upside down through slides and get lost in the underground tunnels. As you go through the levels, the game gets harder and harder and challenges you each time.

The objective of the game is to collect as many gold rings as you can. At the end of a set of levels, you meet a big bad boss, who you need to destroy to move on. The further you get, the higher the score you obtain.

The background music is great and adds to the enjoyment of the game, but if you prefer you can easily switch it off.
